Victory Fellowship Church
ABOUT US
In the summer of 2004 during prayer, God called me to start a church in Martinsville, VA. I had a very comfortable staff position in a large church and didn't particularly want to leave. After several months and several conversations with the Lord, I decided that He knew best and I did what He asked.
Victory Fellowship Church started in November 2004 in a Martinsville school auditorium. After several months, we were able to rent the Martinsville Church of God until it sold in May 2006 when we moved to the uptown Martinsville Post Office. That location served us well until we outgrew it and in December 2007 when we moved into the former Collinsville Skating Rink and Collinsville Printing. As of October 2011, we are in our very own "church" building as we have moved into the former Amazing Grace Baptist Church facility. We now have pews, a fellowship hall, Youth room, paved parking lot with lines, etc. God is amazing!
Victory Fellowship is a non-denominational church that welcomes all classes, all races, and all ages of people. We emphasize our children and youth programs. We spare no expense in these areas. I'll be the first to admit we hold a special place in our heart for all that are hurting spiritually, physically, and/or emotionally. Let us introduce (or reacquaint) you to Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
We don't pretend to have all the answers and we make no apologies for that. We will love on you and give you a place to heal and grow. Our goal (and it is not a hidden agenda) is to teach and train you how to represent Jesus by demonstrating God's love and His Kingdom outside the church. If you want, you will be equipped for the ministry. If you are sick and tired of “religion,” feeling that "Christians" are always judging you, and leaving Church wondering how to apply what you just heard, I believe we may have just the right place for you.
Yes, we do have a dress code. It is, "Come as you are!" If you are unsure what that means, please read 1st Samuel 16:7. Then you will know for certain...
Jesus is more concerned about winning hearts than winning arguments. He's more concerned about your heart. His Kingdom awaits you...
